Regulatory Law

Major upheaval is coming to the regulatory landscapes in any number of industries. As this process unfolds, it will be essential for affected companies and organizations to have counsel that knows the nuances of the regulatory process and is well-versed in the specialized field of administrative law.

Our firm fits that bill. As General Counsel of OMB, Dan Jacobson served as lead counsel to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, the central authority in the Executive Branch for reviewing regulations. Dan’s team reviewed nearly every significant Executive Branch regulation for Administrative Procedure Act compliance. He knows where the vulnerabilities in rules are often found, including in obscure areas of the law where others are not focused. The other members of our team bring unique, high-level experiences in a broad set of areas, including in the law of the regulatory state and specialized regulatory processes.

We assist clients in shaping the content of the rules and preparing for their enactment. After rules are issued, we will bring strategic litigation on behalf of clients to obtain meaningful relief.
